Nicole Winters is an artist and educator.

In 2015, she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2011, majoring in Printmaking.

Her work explores both the tangible and elusive means by which we define our ideas of “place”. While not bound to a geographic location or a physical space, within her work are the records of the places we inhabit and inevitably leave behind, the competing realities of the natural and virtual worlds where we dwell, and the dreamed places we invent to escape from our realities.

A New York native, Nicole currently lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband Vlad and their cat Winnie.
